Professional Affiliations and Standards Barnes, Saly & Company is the only CPA firm in the Central Chapter of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) to be accepted for membership in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Private Companies Practice and SEC Practice Section of the Division for CPA. Membership in the division for Firms is voluntary. As members of the PICPA and AICPA, we adhere to published PICPA and AICPA quality control standards and submit to regular peer reviews, the results of which are available for public inspection.   We submit to regular peer reviews. After third-party examinations of our practices, Barnes, Saly & Company has received nothing but superior ratings, with all reviews open to public inspection. We require all professional staff, not just our CPAs, to earn a 120 minimum hours of continuing professional education credits every three years so we can stay on top of the industry.
